Aban Offshore standalone net grows 11% during Q1 of FY10

Aban Offshore has announced its unaudited results for the quarter ended June 30, 2009.

The company has posted a net profit of Rs 79.50 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009 against Rs 71.51 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2008, up 11.17%. Total income has increased from Rs 271.49 crore to Rs 344.26 crore, registering a 26.80% growth on Year-on-Year (YoY) basis.

On a consolidated basis, the Group has posted a net profit of Rs 110.85 crore for the quarter under consideration against Rs 123.70 crore for the June’ 2008 quarter, down 10.39%. Total income has increased from Rs 770.21 crore to Rs 803.41 crore, showing a marginal growth of 4.31% on a YoY basis.
