ABB reports lower net in the second quarter

Turnkey engineering major ABB has reported a net profit for the second quarter ended June 2009 at Rs 83.61 crore, down 36.57% from Rs 131.81 crore in the previous corresponding previous quarter.
Total income in the quarter under review declined 6.82% to Rs 1,525.87 crore, from Rs 1,637.62 crore in the year-ago period.
