AIA Engineering emerges top gainer on the BSE Midcap index

AIA Engineering has emerged as a top gainer on the BSE Midcap index. The scrip is currently trading at Rs 288 per share, up 12.15 points or 4.4%.

The stock opened at Rs 275 as compared to its previous close of Rs 275.85. Intraday, the counter touched a high and a low of Rs 293.90 and Rs 275, respectively.

So far, 42,05,066 shares of the company were traded on the BSE.

The stock touched its 52-week high of Rs 1495 on September 24, 2008 and a 52-week low of Rs 102.05 on March 5, 2009.

The stock has gained 0.38% since the past one week and 2.93% since the last one month.

The BSE Midcap index was trading at 6,085.90, down 54.93 points or 0.89%. Major gainers on the index were Jagran Prakashan up 4.59%, Uco Bank up 3.52%, Central Bank up 3.36%, Gujarat NRE Coke up 3.32% and Fortis Healthcare up 2.8%.
