Alstom Projects bags Rs 373 cr contract from BHEL

Alstom Projects India has bagged a contract worth Rs 373 crore from Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL).

The contract is for supply of boiler components for 2 X 800 MW supercritical coal-fired power plant at Krishnapatnam, Andhra Pradesh (AP).

Recently, the company had received a contract worth Rs 265 crore from Lanco Infratech to install a new power plant on the Teesta River in Sikkim, India.

Alstom Projects India is a majority owned subsidiary company of Alstom SA France – the global leader in power generation and rail infrastructure. It is one of the oldest companies in the country employing close to 4,000 people with a software technology facility at Bengaluru, four manufacturing units (for hydro in Vadodara, Boilers in Durgapur and Shahabad and for transport at Coimbatore).
