BGR Energy surges on winning new contract

BGR Energy Systems is trading in the green on the BSE after the company said that its Electricals Projects Division has received Rs 27.14 crore turnkey contract from Nuclear Power Corporation of India (NPCIL).
The scrip is currently trading at Rs 423.90 per share, up 22.60 points or 5.63% on the BSE.
The stock opened at Rs 409.70 as compared to its previous close of Rs 401.30. Intraday, the counter touched a high and a low of Rs 430 and Rs 404.90, respectively.
So far, 2,74,038 shares of the company were traded on the BSE.
The stock touched its 52-week high of Rs 430 on August 24, 2009 and a 52-week low of Rs 107 on March 9, 2009.
The stock has gained 15.77% since the past one week and 20.36% since the last one month.
BGR Energy Systems has said that the Electricals Projects Division of the company has received Rs 27.14 crore turnkey contract from Nuclear Power Corporation of India (NPCIL).
The scope of the contract includes supply of 415 V Motor Control Centers (MCC) panels and associated Automation Systems for Bharatiya Nabhikiya Vidyut Nigam (BHAVINI), the 500 MW Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor (PFBR) project at Kalpakkam, Chennai.
The contract is scheduled to be completed over 12 months time.
At present, the Electrical Projects Division of the company is executing another key system viz., Medium Voltage Switchgear Package for the PFBR project.
Apart from this, the division is also implementing 400 KV & 220 KV GIS project for 600 MW Mettur Project of TNEB.
