BHEL dispatches boiler drum for Tamil Nadu power project

Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has dispatched the boiler drum for the first unit of the 2×500 mega watt thermal project of NTPC TN Energy, coming up in Thiruvallur district of Chennai.
NTPC TN Energy is a joint venture between NTPC and Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB).
Tamil Nadu state is expected to get 75% of the power generated from the project once the two units are commissioned.
