Blue Star advances 7.74% on the BSE

Blue Star has emerged as top gainer on the BSE Consumer Durables (CD) index. The scrip is currently trading at Rs 352 per share, up 25.30 points or 7.74% on the BSE.
The stock opened at Rs 335 as compared to its previous close of Rs 326.70. Intraday, the counter touched a high and a low of Rs 362 and Rs 335, respectively.
So far, 8,358 shares of the company were traded on the BSE.
The stock touched its 52-week high of Rs 433.95 on August 29, 2008 and a 52-week low of Rs 122.05 on December 5, 2008.
The stock has gained 5.63% since the past one week and 18.44% since the last one month.
The BSE CD index was trading at 3,027.10, up 92.16 points or 3.14%. Other major gainers on the index were Titan Inds up 2.52%, Rajesh Exports up 1.78%, Videocon up 1.48% and Gitanjali Gems up 1.12%.
