Blue Star gains 3.77% on the BSE

Blue Star has emerged as a top gainer on the BSE Consumer Durables (CD) index. The scrip is currently trading at Rs 385 per share, up 14 points or 3.77% on the BSE.

The stock opened at Rs 375 as compared to its previous close of Rs 371. Intraday, the counter touched a high and a low of Rs 391 and Rs 375, respectively.

So far, 23,596 shares of the company were traded on the BSE.

The stock touched its 52-week high of Rs 433.95 on August 29, 2008 and a 52-week low of Rs 122.05 on December 5, 2008.

The stock has gained 6.59% since past one week and 13.32% since past one month.

The BSE CD index was trading at 3,118.01, up 47.93 points or 1.56%. Other major gainers on the index were Gitanjali Gems up 1.18%, Titan Industries up 0.9%, Videocon up 0.19% and Rajesh Exports up 0.12%.
