BPCL net turns positive during first quarter of FY10

Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) has announced its unaudited results for the quarter ended June 30, 2009.

The company has posted a net profit of Rs 614.12 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009 against a net loss of Rs 1,066.70 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2008.

Meanwhile, the total income of the company has decreased from Rs 39,297.70 crore to Rs 26,195.60 crore, registering a fall of 33.34% on Year-on-Year (YoY) basis.
