Cairn India to invest $3.8 mn in three Rajasthan blocks

Cairn India is planning to invest $3.8 billion in three blocks out of the 25 discovered in Rajasthan.

The development cost of these three blocks — Mangala, Bhagyam and Aishwariya fields – is estimated to be around $2.9 billion, against the previously estimated and approved cost of $1.5 billion.

The company would also invest another $940 million for investing a heated pipeline from Barmer to the Gujarat coast.
