CavinKare to setup own distribution wing under group company

Chennai based CavinKare has set up its own distribution wing under a group company called Hemalatha Enterprises.

The company will run as a parallel distribution system in the market not totally moving from the existing traditional distribution system.

The FMCG major has also developed exclusive software for making business transactions more transparent and efficient in terms of billing and order placements.

It has recruited more than 700 people from rural and semi-urban areas and provided training to them.

The company is aiming to attain more than Rs 700 crore turnover this fiscal, making it the best ever quarter for the company.

It has so far invested Rs 180 crore for capacity expansions at various facilities, for acquisitions and for its new businesses.
