CESC Q4 net profit up 9%

CESC has announced its unaudited results for the fourth quarter & year ended March 31, 2009.

The net profit for the quarter stood at Rs 94.00 crore against Rs 86.00 crore showing a jump of 9% on YoY basis, the total income stood at Rs 775.00 crore against Rs 679.00 crore registering a growth of around 14% on YoY basis.

The company has posted a net profit of Rs 410.00 crore for the entire fiscal against Rs 355.00 crore showing a jump of 15.50% on YoY basis, the total income stood at Rs 3,194.00 crore against Rs 2,904.00 crore registering a growth of 10% on YoY basis.
