Cipla gets tentative approval for tenofovir disoproxil fumarate tablets

Cipla has been has granted tentative approval by the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for tenofovir disoproxil fumarate tablets, 300 mg, manufactured by the company under the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) program.

The tablets are indicated for use in combination with other antiretroviral agents for the treatment of HIV-1 infection in adults.
