Dabur India Q4 net profit surges 16%

Dabur India has announced its results for the fourth quarter & year ended March 31, 2009.
The standalone net profit for the quarter stood at Rs 91.72 crore against Rs 78.79 crore in the corresponding previous quarter, an increase of around 16%. The total income stood at Rs 624.54 crore against Rs 537.83 crore, registering a growth of 16% on YoY basis.
The standalone net profit for the entire fiscal stood at Rs 373.56 crore against Rs 315.93 crore in the previous fiscal, an increase of around 18%. The total income stood at Rs 2,439.23 crore against Rs 2,111.31 crore, registering a growth of around 15.50% on YoY basis.
The consolidated net profit for the quarter stood at Rs 104.30 crore against Rs 79.64 crore, showing an increase of around 31% on YoY basis. The total income stood at Rs 740.59 crore against Rs 620.24 crore registering a growth of 19% on YoY basis.
The consolidated net profit for the quarter stood at Rs 391.21 crore against Rs 332.94 crore, an increase of around 17.50% on YoY basis. The total income stood at Rs 2,852.27 crore against Rs 2,395.08 crore registering a growth of 19% on YoY basis.
The board of directors has recommended final dividend of 100% i.e. Rs 1 per share on the face value of Rs 1 each for FY09.
