DSE to ink deal with six regional SEs within a month

In a move to resume its operation after seven years, the Delhi Stock Exchange (DSE) is in talks with six regional stock exchanges (SEs), including Indore, Ludhiana, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Kanpur and Bangalore for providing them its own trading platform.
Sources in the know of development have said that the DSE talks with stock exchanges are in the final stages and an announcement is expected within a month.
After reaching at agreement, the regional exchanges would become DSE members for which the DSE would have to provide them a trading platform. DSE has also ramped up efforts to rope in brokers with a membership fee of Rs 5 lakh. So far, the DSE has received 80 applications in the category against the targeted 200 new members in the current fiscal.
