Edserv draws up plan to enter the school segment

Edserv, an IT-based education company providing services to the higher education segment, has drawn up a plan to enter the school segment with an investment of Rs 20 crore in the next six months time.
The school foray will involve three phases, through which the company is set to implement its trademarked education concept IDEA – Industry Demand Alignment – to support and guide every student from K-12 to careers.
In the first stage Edserv will provide infrastructure and academic support while the second stage will include implementation of the Progressive Learning Model through content rich metrics. The third stage will see the implementation of IDEA from K-12 to careers.
The company will set up EdLabs in 50 schools in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh initially. EdServ will provide academic support, school management support and student performance management services in order to enhance multi-dimensional skill development in the students at K-12 itself.
