Edserve touches roof on launching its Assessment Engine

Edserv Softsystems is currently trading at Rs 44.50,up by 2.10 points or 4.95% from its previous closing on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs 44.50, its upper circuit level for the day and remains there till now with trade of 33,631 shares so far.
The BSE group ‘B’ stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 147.90 on March 3, 2009 and a 52 week low of Rs 18.70 on April 1, 2007.
The scrip price has witnessed upswings of 18.04% since last week and 53.45% since last month.
Edserv Softsystems, India’s first 4th generation education company has rolled out the EdCademy Assessment Engine (AE) consisting of model assessment for 220 subjects of Anna University (AU), Chennai to be accessed through the secured LAMPS web link. Students studying in various colleges under Anna University across Tamil Nadu can access these contents and improve their preparation to semester exams through 150 EdCenters of Edserv spread across TN. Students can now clear their current semester papaers as well as arrear papers if any with ease with EdCademy AE.
EdServ launched EdCademy, the academic support programme for arts/science, engineering and management students recently. Under this programme, EdServ conducts promptive metrics based learning (PML) methods to enhance the performance of students in their semester exams so that their placement prospects become better as they move to final year campus programme.
Edserv Softsystems net profit surged by 221.74% to Rs 2.22 crore in the quarter ended June 2009 as against Rs 0.69 crore during the same quarter last year.
