Gitanjali Gems emerges as top gainer on BSE CD index

Gitanjali Gems has emerged as a top gainer on the BSE Consumer Durables (CD) index. The scrip is currently trading at Rs 113.3 per share, up 4.90 points or 4.52% on the BSE.

The stock opened at Rs 110 as compared to its previous close of Rs 108.40. Intraday, the counter touched a high and a low of Rs 114.50 and Rs 110, respectively.

So far, 2,10,704 shares of the company were traded on the BSE.

The stock has touched its 52-week high of Rs 267.80 on August 18, 2008 and a 52-week low of Rs 32.50 on March 9, 2009.

The stock has gained 2.95% since the past one week and 17.05% since the last one month.

The BSE CD index was trading at 3,135.13, up 67.70 points or 2.21%. Other major gainers on the index were Videocon Inds up 3.89%, Rajesh Exports up 3.58% and Titan Inds up 2.21%.
