GMR Infrastructure Reports Loss in Q4

GMR Infrastructure has announced its financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2010.

The company has reported a net loss of Rs 3.13 crore for the March 2010 quarter against net profit of Rs 9.32 crore for the March 2009 quarter. Its total income during the reporting quarter increased by 127.78% to Rs 65.74 crore from Rs 28.86 crore for the corresponding previous quarter.

For the entire fiscal, it has posted a net profit of Rs 13.45 crore as compared to Rs 97.67 crore for the year ended March 31, 2009, down by 86.22%. The total income for FY10 jumped to Rs 178.78 crore from Rs 165.02 crore for FY09, registering a year-on-year growth of 8.33%.

On the consolidated basis, the group has reported a net profit of Rs 158.40 crore for the fiscal year 2009-10 against Rs 279.45 crore for the fiscal year 2008-09, down 43.31%. Its total income during FY10 jumped by 17.05% to Rs 4729.90 crore from Rs 4040.59 crore for FY09.
