Great Offshore takes delivery of a newly built tug

Offshore exploration services major Great Offshore has taken the delivery of a newly built tug “Polari”. With this acquisition, the total fleet strength of the company has gone up to 42 offshore vessels.

Recently, the company had entered into a three-year charter commencing end April 2009, with Oil and natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for three of its vessels, 1 PSV and 2 AHTSVs for operating in offshore India for an aggregate contract value of around $65 million.
