Hero Honda Motors, HCL Technologies and BHEL likely to see some action today

Leading two-wheeler giant Hero Honda Motors has resolved the dispute regarding payment of land premium for 94 acres of vacant land at Haridwar. The company has made a payment of Rs 32.5 crore to the State Infrastructure and Industrial Development Corporation of Uttarakhand (Sidcul) to retain its hold over the vacant land, according to a media report.
BHEL has recorded an all time high turnover of Rs 28,033 crore in the 2008-09 financial year. The state-run company’s exports also increased by a whopping 41% at Rs 3,265 during the year.
HCL Technologies (HCL) has signed a five year Transformational IT Infrastructure Management deal with the Energy Future Holdings Corp (EFH). The duo will work together to develop an IT Transformation roadmap for the next five years. The company’s responsibility towards the contract would be to manage the Texas-based energy company’s IT Infrastructure landscape that includes Data Center (DC), Voice and Data Networks and End User Computing Services.
Reliance Industries sold 15 million of treasury stock at an average share price of Rs 2,125 , a 2.7% discount to Wednesday’s close of Rs 2,183.5.
