Hindalco reports 0.39% rise in the net profit to Rs 544.80 crore

Hindalco Industries has reported a 0.39% rise in the net profit to Rs 544.80 crore for the December 2008 quarter as against Rs 542.67 crore for the December 2007 quarter.
The company’s total income has dropped 8.28% from Rs 4653.09 crore for the December 2007 quarter to Rs 4267.67 crore for the December 2008 quarter.
