Hyundai offers discount to govt employees on car purchase

Hyundai has announced a special discount to all the government employees on purchase of its cars, a move to cash in on the higher salaries and arrears under the Sixth Pay Commission this festive season.

As per the scheme, nearly Rs 31,000 would be provided as discounts on various cars and is applicable to all state and central government employees. The scheme is offered during the months of October and November.

The arrears received after revision in the Sixth Pay Commission can be utilized for making the down payments for the purchase and the revised salary increment would help them to accommodate their monthly installments.

The auto major has tied up with Bank of India, Axis Bank and HDFC Bank to offer various finance schemes to the government employees for purchasing its cars.
