India to grow at 7-7.5% in FY10: Nath
January 31, 2009 by admin
Expressing hopes of quick economic revival, commerce and industry minister Kamal Nath has said that the Indian economy would be able to manage 7-7.5% of growth in next fiscal. It is interesting to note that International Monetary Fund has projected India’s growth in 2009 at 5.1%, much below Nath’s expectations.
“Indian economy grew by 7.8% in the first half of this fiscal and is expected to maintain the same growth rate, more or less, in the next financial year”, Nath said while addressing a press conference at the World Economic Forum on Friday.
