Infosys bags top honors in Karnataka IT Exports Award

Infosys and its subsidiary Infosys BPO bagged many top honors at the STPI (Software Technology Parks of India) and Karnataka State IT Exports Awards 2007-08.
It was selected the best company for outstanding performances in the field of information technology, followed by Wipro.
Infosys also won the ‘Highest employing IT Company; award while Infosys BPO held the top position for being the highest employing ITES/BPO.
The other winners were Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Satyam Computers. IBM India and Accenture Services bagged the awards for being the top Foreign Equity IT companies.
The best ITES/BPO list was topped by Infosys BPO and FirstSource Solutions followed by HTMT Global Solutions and Aditya Birla Minacs Worldwide.
Dell International Services and Fidelity Business Services India won the Certificate of Excellence for being the top foreign equity ITES/BPO companies, followed by next two leading companies — Goldman Sachs and Global e-Business Operations.
