Nestle emerges as top gainer on the BSE FMCG index

Nestle India is the top gainer on the BSE FMCG index. The scrip is currently trading at Rs 1962 per share, up 41.85 points or 2.18% on the BSE.
The stock opened at Rs 1920 per share as compared to its previous close of Rs 1920.15 per share.
Intraday, the counter touched a high and a low of Rs 1963 per share and Rs 1911.30 per share, respectively.
The group ‘A’ BSE 100 stock touched its 52-week high of Rs 1963 per share on June 30, 2009 and a 52-week low of Rs 1220 per share on November 18, 2008.
The stock has gained by 13.69% since the past one week and 13.65% in the last one month.
The BSE FMCG index was trading at 2,267.16, down 8.34 points or 0.37%.
Other gainers on this index were Colgate Palmolive India up 1.69% and Hindustan Unilever up 1.07%.
