Orchid receives USFDA nod for Amlodipine Besylate Tablets

Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals, manufacturing Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and Finished Dosage Forms and having a presence in drug discovery, has received approval from US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for its ANDA (Abbreivated New Drug Application) for Amlodipine Besylate Tablets.

These tablets would be available in 2.5mg, 5 mg and 10 mg. With this approval, Orchid’s ANDA approval count stands at 32 and the total ANDA filing count stands at 58.
