Oriental Bank of Commerce gains 2.65% on the BSE

Oriental Bank of Commerce has emerged as a top gainer on the BSE Bankex. The scrip is currently trading at Rs 179.10 per share, up 5.20 points or 2.99%.

The stock opened at Rs 174.40 as compared to its previous close of Rs 173.90. Intraday, the counter touched a high of Rs 179.10 and a low of Rs 174.

So far, 80,035 shares of the company were traded on the BSE. The stock touched its 52-week high of Rs 202.80 on May 20, 2009 and a 52-week low of Rs 94.60 on March 12, 2009.

The stock has gained 6.73% since the past one week and 8.41% since the last one month.

The BSE Bankex is currently trading at 8,430.82, up 120.20 points or 1.45%. Other major gainers on the index were PNB up 2.45%, Bank of India up 2.34%, Kotak Bank up 2.29% and SBI up 2.04%.
