Piramal Healthcare moves up on entering supply agreement with Parenteral Drugs

Piramal Healthcare is currently trading at Rs. 499.50, up by 5.80 points or 1.17% from its previous closing of Rs. 493.70 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 490.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 505.30 and Rs. 483.60 respectively. So far 2897775 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 599.90 on 21-May-2010 and a 52 week low of Rs. 249.50 on 26-May-2009.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 599.90 and Rs. 481.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 10329.43 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 49.24 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 34.82 % and 15.94 % respectively.
Parenteral Drugs has entered into supply cum distribution agreement with Piramal Healthcare, for supply of Fluothane and isoflurane product in India and Nepal. Under the agreement, PDIL shall have exclusive right as ‘Sole Distributor’ to supply Fluothane and isoflurane products for a period of ten years in the open market and for institutional sales in India and Nepal
