Radico Khaitan advances on fund-raising plan

Radico Khaitan, among the leading players in the domestic distillery business, has drawn up plans to garner Rs 375 crore from the domestic or overseas markets.
The scrip is currently trading at Rs 116.20, up by 1.75 points or 1.53% on the BSE.
The stock opened at Rs 118 as compared to its previous close of Rs 114.45. Intraday, the counter touched a high and a low of Rs 118.90 and Rs 115.10 respectively.
So far, 35,002 shares of the company were traded on the BSE.
The stock touched its 52-week high of Rs 123.40 on September 22, 2009 and a 52-week low of Rs 49.35 on October 27, 2008.
The scrip has gained by 0.78% since the past one week and by 12.38% since the last one month.
The company is looking at various fund-raising options including Global Depository Receipts, Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds and/or any other financial instruments convertible into equity shares through the preferential route
These securities would be issued in one or more tranches along with a green shoe option as it may deem fit, the company said in a filing with the BSE.
