Raj TV posts net loss in the last quarter of 2008-09

Raj Television Network has declared its fourth quarter results. The revenues for quarter in review were Rs 19.49 crore against Rs 8.64 crore on YoY basis. Net loss for the quarter stood at Rs 3 crore against the net loss of Rs 33.2 lakh on YoY basis.

For the entire fiscal 2008-09, the company’s net profit was down 72% at Rs 3.72 crore, as compared to Rs 13.47 crore in the previous fiscal. FY09 revenues were up 11.6% at Rs 60.12 crore against Rs 53.86 crore. Its operating profit margin (OPM) stood at 12.5% against 34%.
