Ramsarup Industries bags orders worth Rs 62 crore from RUIDP

Ramsarup Industries has bagged orders worth Rs 62 crore from the Rajasthan Urban Sector Development Investment Program (RUIDP-phase-II) for laying of sewerage lines at Jhunjhunu and Nagaur districts in northern Rajasthan.

The company has been successfully carrying out several similar projects in the state.

Ramsarup Infrastructure had ventured into the laying of transmission lines and a separate unit was set up to undertake this activity. It is this unit that is currently in charge of the new projects being bagged by the company, as mentioned in its filing with the BSE.

The current order book of the company is now over Rs 500 crore.

Ramsarup Industries is mainly into the manufacture of steel wires (black and galvanized) and thermo-mechanically-treated (TMT) bars. It supplies these products to the power and infrastructure sector. In addition, the company also offers transmission lines laying services and project management services for infrastructure projects.
