Ranbaxy Laboratories gets USFDA nod for Glycopyrrolate Tablets

Ranbaxy Laboratories has said that it received approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) to manufacture and market Glycopyrrolate Tablets USP, 1 mg and 2 mg.

Glycopyrrolate Tablets, which are indicated for use as adjunctive therapy in the treatment of peptic ulcer, have total annual market sales of $26 million. The product formulation will be launched in the December quarter to all classes of trade.

Ranbaxy Pharmaceuticals Inc. (RPI), based in Jacksonville, Florida, USA, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ranbaxy Laboratories (RLL). It is engaged in the sale and distribution of generic and branded prescription products in the US healthcare system.
