RCom gets rewarded for bringing the fastest wireless internet service

Reliance Communications is currently trading at Rs 144.55, up by 6.25 points or 4.52% from its previous closing of Rs 138.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 141.10 and has touched a high of Rs 146.25 with low remaining its opening price. So far 9,72,140 shares were traded on the BSE.

The BSE group ‘A’ TECk sector stock of face value Rs 5 has touched a high of Rs 608.85 on May 20, 2008 and a 52 week low of Rs 131.35 on March 9, 2009.

The BSE TECk index is currently trading at 1,679.45,up by 2.77% from its previous closing.

The scrip price has witnessed a positive change of 4.90% since last week and a correction of 20.42% since last month.

Telecom giant Reliance Communications (RCom) has launched what would be the fastest wireless internet service in the country till date, Reliance Netconnect Broadband Plus, offering a huge potential and is to increase the broadband penetration in the country manifold.

To start Reliance Netconnect Broadband Plus service, the company would make it available in 35 cities, which covers 80-85% potential of broadband users in the country. RCom has a subscriber base of 1 million and they are able to upgrade their subscription to the new service.
