Sical Logistics marginally up on posting 383% growth in FY10 net profit

Sical Logistics has announced its financial results for the quarter & year ended March 31, 2010.
The scrip is currently trading at Rs. 72.50, up by 0.40 points or 0.55% from its previous closing of Rs. 72.10 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 74.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 74.00 and Rs. 71.20 respectively. So far 53924 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group ‘B’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 110.25 on 11-Jan-2010 and a 52 week low of Rs. 31.75 on 14-Jul-2009.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 83.50 and Rs. 71.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 282.58 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 42.66% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 27.12% and 30.22% respectively.
The company has reported a net profit of Rs 6.23 crore for the March 2010 quarter, down 90.88% over Rs 68.34 crore for the March 2009 quarter. Its total income during the latest quarter increased by 9.95% to Rs 133.20 crore from Rs 121.15 crore for the corresponding previous quarter.
For the entire fiscal, Sical has posted a net profit of Rs 26.36 crore as compared to Rs 5.46 crore for the previous fiscal, up by whopping 382.78%. Total income for FY10 stood at Rs 537.24 crore against Rs 474.52 crore for FY09, up 13.22%.
