Videocon Inds continues to magnetize investors

After gaining 11.31% in the previous session, Videocon Industries has continued its positive momentum today. The scrip has emerged as top gainer on the BSE Consumer Durables (CD) index, gaining 8.50 points or 3.82% to Rs 231 per share.

The stock opened at Rs 223.50 as compared to its previous close of Rs 222.50. By now, the counter has touched a high and a low of Rs 233.80 and Rs 221.10, respectively.

So far, 13,09,005 shares of the company were traded on the BSE.

The stock has touched its 52-week high of Rs 284.20 on September 8, 2008 and a 52-week low of Rs 82 on March 12, 2009.

The stock has gained 16.81% since the past one week and 24.16% since the last one month.

The BSE CD index was trading at 3,213.13, up 53.58 points or 1.70%. Other major gainers on the index were Gitanjali Gems up 1.98%, Rajesh Exports up 1.98%, Blue Star up 1.92%, Blue Star up 0.81% and Titan Industries up 0.61%.
