Wockhardt advances 10.13% on the BSE

Wockhardt has emerged as a top gainer on the BSE Midcap index. The scrip is currently trading at Rs 178.85 per share, up 16.45 points or 10.13%.

The stock opened at Rs 167.95 as compared to its previous close of Rs 162.40. By now, the counter touched a high and a low of Rs 180 and Rs 167.95, respectively.

So far, 2,01,139 shares of the company were traded on the BSE.

The stock touched its 52-week high of Rs 214 on September 8, 2008 and a 52-week low of Rs 67.50 on March 13, 2009.

The stock has gained 13.99% since past one month and 27.75% since past one month.

The Midcap index was trading at 5,659.22, up 99.90 points or 1.8%. Other major gainers on the index were Indiabulls Real Estate up 6.47%, Monnet Ispat up 5.57%, Hindustan Oil up 4.99% and Jai Corp up 4.98%.
